Almond flowers bloom in Datong village, Northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur autonomous region, turning the remote village into a world of pink. Locals live a simple life, doing daily chores, chattering and playing with kids. Datong village, dubbed the almond village, is located inside Pamir Mountains, some 2,800 meters above sea level.
