Kazakh Artists Bring Xinjiang Dance Festival to An End
A cheerful Kazakh folk dance kicks off the Kazakh evening party at the Fourth China Xinjiang International Dance Festival in Karamay, Xinjiang Uygur autonomous region on July 29.
The gala was a part of the Fourth China Xinjiang International Dance Festival that was jointly sponsored by the Ministry of Culture, the Information Office of the State Council and the People's Government of the Xinjiang Uygur autonomous region.
The Kazakh artists showcased a variety of national performances, including dance, song and instrument solo of Kazakhstan, Russia, Turkey and Iran. Local audiences were impressed by the whole performance.
"Kazakhstan really deserves its reputation as the 'home of song and dance'!" Zhang Xin, a Karamay young man, expressed his views after the show.
The Fourth China Xinjiang International Dance Festival also came to an end with this last dance show performed by skillful artists from Kazakhstan. The 17 days' festival gave audiences in Xinjiang a musical and visual feast and helped build a bridge between countries along the Silk Road through cultural communication and artistic exchanges.
