The Provincial Development and Reform Commission is accelerating to build the key project base for the construction of Shaanxi as an important site of the national strategy of the Silk Road economic belt and marine Silk Road in the 21st century (hereinafter referred as One Belt, One Road) so as to make more projects upgrade as the national strategic ones for implementation.

The project collection will focus on subsequent construction, operation, storage and planning, especially on those emerging projects boosting the transformation of the economic development pattern and economic restructuring or strengthening the economic development forces, those boosting the infrastructure modernization, such as transportation and energy construction, those boosting the sustainable development of the ecological environment, such as energy conservation, emission reduction, and environment governance, those improving the people’s livelihood, such as public services and public security, those integrating culture with tourism, such as talent training and cultural industry, those promoting the coordinated regional development, such as urban functional improvement and industrial transfer, and those supporting companies to go global or cooperate with others along the Silk Road to co-build industrial parks and other projects attracting foreign capital.

The investment of a single project in the key project base should not be less than 50 million yuan. And those projects which have been listed in special planning at the national or provincial level will enjoy the priority. Meanwhile, the Development and Reform Commissions at all cities and districts and companies will enhance the organization and management and submit relevant materials to the Provincial Development and Reform Commission before August 10.
