To meet the increasing need of international medical service, Office of Medical Service for Foreigners was set up to provide better and more efficient medical services for expatriates in Xi’an.

Located on the Second floor of the Emergency Department, Medical Service for Foreigners Office was established as part of the Outpatient Department, mainly providing ophthalmological care and gynaecology and obstetrical care as well as internal medicine, surgical, pediatrics, ENT, oral and dermatological services. Foreign patients may call for appointment in working days before visiting. The Medical Department has drafted steps for foreign patients to seek medical services and service instructions. Patients come with appointments are led by hospital guides to Medical Service for Foreigners Office for care. Emergency treatments will be given by Emergency Department based on green channel procedures for emergency care. Patients in need of inpatient care will stay at Special-Care Ward upon finishing related procedures.
