Wine Tasting Marks Xi'an International Wine Festival
The Fourth Xi'an International Wine Festival kicked off at the International Trade and Logistics Park in Xi’an city, Shaanxi province, on June 30.
A wine tasting activity, wine culture forum and enterprise promotion meeting attracted large numbers of wine dealers and wine enthusiasts to the festival.
The park set up 90 stalls to accommodate wine dealers, enterprises and agents from China and wineries from other countries such as France and Italy. The event was designed to provide networking and cooperation opportunities for participants.
Thanks to national preferential policies on food imports, the International Trade and Logistics Park has built a wine imports site to serve Northwest China. Based around the comprehensive bonded zone and railway container center, the site allows imported wine to be delivered to Xi’an directly from its native countries. These distribution channels cut operational costs and provide qualified products to customers at lower prices.
