The High School Affiliated to Lanzhou University in Lanzhou, Gansu province has come up with an innovative idea for its graduation day: it held a waltz prom on June 3.

More than 600 graduates attended the prom and bowed farewell to their school, teachers and schoolmates in a stylish way.

Students dressed in gowns and suits first danced in pairs and then invited their teachers and parents to dance.

"I'm glad to see my daughter grow up and end her high school life in such a memorable ceremony," said a father filled with emotions after dancing with her daughter at the prom.
