The first eco parking lot has begun construction in the Toutunhe district of Urumqi, Xinjiang Uygur autonomous region, according to the district's forestry administration.

The parking lot will be located on Yangchenghu Road and occupy a ground space of 1,462 square meters. The lot is expected to act both as a parking area, green space and an area for environmental protection. 107 parking spot will be available when the parking lot is put into use by the end of August.
