The 2015 Lanzhou International Marathon will kick off in Lanzhou, capital of Gansu province at 7:30 am on June 13. The preparatory works have already been finalized, according to the event's organizing committee.

The running equipment offered by the organizer is ready, including T-shirts, number tags, running backpacks and timers. Participants can get them between June 9 and 12 at the Gansu International Conference and Exhibition Center.

Lanzhou called on all the institutions in the city to support the preparatory works for the marathon, aiming to ensure it will go smoothly. For example, all the construction projects concerning the city's natural gas and oil pipeline networks will be suspended for 24 hours from 18:00 on June 12 to 18:00 on June 13.

The city urban administrative department also made new arrangements along the racing track, making sure no street vendors would occupy the track or disrupt the order in the racing area. In addition, Lanzhou international marathon themed park has been decorated accordingly to welcome the coming running event.
