To open up the European market for Shaanxi tourism and attract more foreign tourists to travel to Shaanxi, the Shaanxi Provincial Tourism Bureau will participate in the Joint Advertising Activity of the "2015 Beautiful China-Silk Road on the Continent" Tourism Promotion Campaign organized by the National Tourism Administration.

For this joint advertising activity, the National Tourism Administration organized five provinces and autonomous regions along the Silk Road including Shaanxi, Gansu, Ningxia, Qinghai, and Xinjiang to jointly publish online and offline ads from February to mid-June during the World Expo in Milan, Italy and the "2015 Beautiful China-Silk Road on the Continent" Tourism Promotion Campaign organized by the National Tourism Administration, in order to publicize in a concentrated manner to the industry and the public the unique and diverse tourism products along the Silk Road.

The joint advertising activity will choose 10 online and offline advertising platforms, including the Rome sightseeing buses, Rome bus line system, Milan subway stations, Milan trams, mainstream publications of the Italian tourist industry, agency training websites and all mainstream SNSs, to publish ads to the expected audience of over ten million people. It will promote the development of European market for inbound tourism to Shaanxi province.
