The Changqing National Nature Reserve in Shaanxi Listed the IUCN Green
According to Xinhua News Agency, the certificate giving ceremony by the IUCN Green List to Chinese nature reserves was held in Beijing on the 30th, six Chinese nature reserves, including the Changqing National Nature Reserve in Shaanxi Province were put into the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) Green List as the first batch.
According to introduction, the IUCN Green List was first published in 2014, listing 24 nature reserves in 8 pilot countries including China, which include 6 nature reserves in China, namely, the Sichuan Tangjiahe National Nature Reserve, Jilin Longwan National Forest Park, Shaanxi Changqing National Nature Reserve, Heilongjiang Wudalianchi National Scenic Area, Anhui Huangshan National Scenic Area, Hunan East Dongting Lake National Nature Reserve.
As a "natural asylum" for Qinling pandas, the Changqing National Nature Reserve is located within the territory of Yang County on the southern slope of the middle section of the Qinling Mountains. On the north, it takes Taibai Forestry Bureau of Shaanxi Province as its border, and on the east it borders the Foping National Nature Reserve. Its south and west boundaries are collectively owned forests of the 11 administrative villages of Huayang and Maoping Towns of Yang County.
