Xinjiang Company Plans to Develop Grape Industry in Huocheng County
Huocheng county, in Xinjiang Uygur autonomous region, held an entrepreneurs' investment seminar on Jan 19, with the county’s vice head, Li Yaqin, and Yang Huozhou, the chairman of the Xinjiang Duolong Investment Co. on hand to discuss Huocheng's investment potential.
At the seminar, Li Yaqin briefed the audience on Huocheng's economic situation. And Guan Wenke, director of the Xinjiang forest research institute, based in Xinjiang's Urumqi, highlighted that Sandaohe town in Huocheng county has abundant natural resource for growing grapes. He also suggested that investments into developing grape industry would be a nice choice for companies.
Yang Huozhou said that his company has decided to invest in building wine estates in Sandaohe town and develop the desert valley sightseeing agriculture in order to make full use of Huocheng's resources. He also noted that his company has managed to bring financial benefits to the Huocheng people through its profits, whilst continuing to expand the enterprise's scale.
