The Yili Kazak autonomous prefecture's drama troupe performed a free show at the Langan village on Oct 30th, in the county of Huocheng, Xinjiang Uygur autonomous region, to enrich the lives of farmers and herdsmen.

A hundred or more villagers enjoyed the wonderful performances such as the Kazakh dance, female solos, and the playing of flute music. The song Xinjiang, the Most Beautiful Place in the Country brought the show to its climax, with some audience members even dancing along with the song. During the show, the county cadres made speeches on the importance of national unity and handed out relevant books and videos to the villagers.

The entire audience enjoyed the performance, as the villager Nuerkali said, "We villagers are very happy to watch the shows, and we look forward to joining more of such activities in the village." (source: china daily)
