China-South Korea International Symposium Held in Xi'an

China-South Korea International Symposium, co-sponsored by the Provincial Department of Commerce of Shaanxi and the Economy, Humanity and Society Research Association of South Korea, was held in Xi’an on April 24. South Korean President Park Geun-hye delivered a speech by video. Vice Governor of Shaanxi Wang Lixia attended to make a speech.
Wang Lixia said that in recent years, Shaanxi actively boosted the exchanges and cooperation with Korea in various ways and promoted the mutual benefits and win-win outcomes between the two sides. Currently, Shaanxi is striving to build a new starting point of the Silk Road economic belt construction and plans to open wider to the East Asia while enhancing the cooperation with countries along the Silk Road, especially, the cooperation with South Korea in culture, tourism and education. She stressed that Shaanxi will continue bringing its regional advantages into full play, take initiatives in serving for companies from South Korea in the mutual cooperation and exchanges with Shaanxi and even the Western China. She hoped that the intelligentsia of the two sides could exchange views by this symposium and provide the brand-new visions and intelligent supports for the cooperation and exchanges in more sectors.
